About
OP Fitness started with a lifter's training log: sessions written down as they happened, with ramps, top sets, back-offs, complexes and conditioning on the same page, and nowhere to keep them as written.
Why it exists
Plenty of lifters don't train off a program someone hands them, or a fixed template of sets × reps. They write their own programs, run them in blocks, change them as they go, and want a log that keeps up instead of one they have to bend their training to fit.
So the rule here is simple: if it was in the log, the app holds it. A band on the last two sets, a vest on a ruck, a clean complex with a different rep count on each movement, a cluster, a set of rows for calories: each gets its own place, not a line in the notes.
Who it's for
Independent athletes: lifters, weightlifters, powerlifters and anyone mixing strength with conditioning who coaches themselves. There are no coach or team features, and that is on purpose.
Why OP
The site is opfitness.app. OP is progressive overload, onus progressivum if you like your Latin: a little more weight, a few more reps, week after week. Keep at it long enough and it's the other OP too.
What we hold to
- Log exactly what happened, then let the numbers follow from it.
- Show progress honestly: trends over single days, records that mean something.
- Work on the phone in your hand at the rack, and use the big screen at home.
- Keep your training yours.
- Keep the price low by building only what athletes use.
What's next
More tools like the 1RM calculator, more programs, more ways to read your progress, and paid plans kept low because there's less to pay for. See everything it does today.
