Privacy policy
What OP Fitness keeps about you, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted.
Last updated 27 October 2026
Who we are
OP Fitness (“we”, “us”) runs the training log at opfitness.app and its iPhone and Android apps. Questions about this policy or your data go to [email protected].
What we keep
- Your account: the name you choose, your email address, and your password, which is stored only as a one-way hash we can't read back. If you add them, your phone number and bodyweight.
- What you log: your sessions, sets, exercises, gyms, training blocks, programs and notes, and anything else you enter in the app.
- What you share: the share links you make, and, if you write for the site, your articles, author name, bio and the images you upload.
- Your device: the web app keeps a sign-in cookie, and saves changes you make offline in your browser's storage until they can be sent.
What we use it for
To run the app for you: to sign you in, keep your log, work out your records, estimated maxes and trends, and answer you when you write to us. We don't sell your data, and we don't use what you log to target ads.
Who else sees it
- No one, by default. Your log is yours. We look at accounts only to keep the service running or to help when you ask.
- People you send a share link to. Anyone with a link sees the report or chart it shows, but not your name or anything else. Deleting the link stops it working.
- Readers, if you write. Published articles show their author's name and bio to everyone.
- Services that carry the site. Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, so it handles your IP address and the requests your browser makes. Article images are stored with a cloud storage provider.
- Google, for ads. See below.
Cookies and ads
Our own cookie only keeps you signed in. The site also shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on those visits.
You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of other companies' personalized ads at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep your account and log for as long as you have the account. To delete your account and everything in it, write to [email protected] from the email address on the account. Copies in our backups are removed as those backups are replaced.
Children
OP Fitness isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly keep their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes here with a new date. If a change affects what we do with data you've already given us, we'll tell you by email first.
